Greek Community SA purchases new property
The Greek Orthodox Community of SA (GOCSA) is expanding its services into greater metropolitan Adelaide and the wider community.
Following negotiations with the administrators, GOCSA has agreed to buy the Camden Com-munity Centre situated in Camden Park. The site is conservatively valued at $2m with GOCSA to pay an agreed amount of approximately $1.2m.
The Camden Com-munity Centre has been offering a variety of services to the community, including an opportunity shop and a 'men's shed'.
GOCSA aspires to maintain the existing and introduce new services to the general public.
GOCSA has the backing of the West Torrens Council and is looking forward to expand its operations with the collaboration of local, State and Federal Governments.
