Cyprus Government offers 10 million euro

The Government of the Republic of Cyprus has decided to offer financial aid worth 10 million euro for the victims of the deadly forest fires in Greece. It also appealed to the business world and the public at large to make contributions and encouraged community groups to host events to raise more funds for the victims.

The total amount to be raised, will be allocated to specific projects for the relief and the support of the victims after consultation with the Greek Government.
